THE POLYCARVING
The brief being heavily based on an Incan-inspired facade, we created the totems to strongly highlight and emphasise an elaborate geometry inspired by traditional art - in line with Coya's aesthetic.
THE MORTAR
With a short time frame, we chose to use quick-setting tile mortar as our rendering material.
Its grainy texture - combined with some theming - ensured a stone-like feel to the totems whilst staying light and resisting weather.

THE SPRAY-PAINTING
The final paint coat was done with gold and dark green spray paint.
