Commissioned by a high-end restaurant for spring 2022, in partnership with Early Hours Ltd.
THE ITALIAN STREET
The fake rock panels were the basis for our "Italian Street" illusion. The rocks were first individually cut out using a hot wire and then mounted onto a plywood and MDF frame. They are then individually rendered using dark grout - a lighter alternative to concrete - and patted down to give them a rock-like texture. The grout in between the rocks is later piped on and the whole is hand-painted and dry-brushed to bring the panels to life. THE SKY MURAL
Painted during a night shift in Selfridges, this mural was created using traditional rollers for the base and airguns for the clouds. Effective!
